CNC Milling
Our 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling capabilities handle complex prismatic and turned parts. We machine high-performance aluminium and magnesium castings for motorsport applications with tight tolerances. With four Mazak machining centres offering travel ranges up to 730 x 850 x 560mm, we accommodate both prototype and production runs while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
Thread Rolling
Our dedicated CNC thread rolling machine produces high-strength metric threads from M4 to M12. This cold-forming process enhances thread durability while maintaining material integrity. We specialise in rolled thread studs for critical applications, with capacity to handle custom requirements beyond standard sizes through technical consultation.
Deep Hole Drilling
Our deep hole drilling facilities achieve aspect ratios up to 10:1, handling diameters from 4mm to 38.1mm with maximum depth of 600mm. Using two Mollart 7000 series machines and Delapena equipment, we maintain straightness tolerances of 0.1mm per 100mm depth, suitable for hydraulic components and specialised tooling applications.
CNC Turning
Our CNC turning department machines components from 6mm to 300mm diameter, with shaft work up to 1000mm length. Recent additions of Citizen A20 sliding head lathes with live tooling enhance our capability for complex turned parts. We combine Mazak Nexus QT150 and SQT18M machines to balance precision and production efficiency.
Honing
Our honing processes achieve surface finishes down to 0.25m Ra on bores from 10mm to 37mm diameter. Using Mollart and Delapena equipment with digital bore gauging, we correct geometric irregularities in pre-drilled holes. This capability supports tight tolerance requirements for hydraulic cylinders and engine components requiring optimal surface integrity.
