Hamilton Weston Wallpapers, a business established in 1981, has a rich history in the world of historic, bespoke, and original wallpapers. Our journey began with interior designer Georgina Hamilton and architectural historian Robert Weston, who shared a passion for historic designs and their heritage. This passion led to the discovery of a unique archive of period wallpaper fragments, which forms the basis of our wallpaper collections today.
Our Services
At Hamilton Weston Wallpapers, we specialise in the reproduction of Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian wallpapers. Our services cater to historic homes, elegant restorations of treasured buildings, and period film, TV, and theatre sets. We work with innovative craftspeople to offer an exceptional range of wallpapers for distinctive, unusual, and contemporary interiors.
Our services extend to historic reproductions and a bespoke service. Our unique archive of patterns dates from 1690-1960. From fragile and faded fragments uncovered in hidden corners of old buildings, we discover intriguing, unusual, and often surprisingly contemporary wallpapers. Each design in our core Hamilton Weston collection is painstakingly redrawn and recoloured for hand or digital printing.
Our Collections
Our collections are carefully curated and maintained, with new additions regularly introduced. Our collections include 'Arcadia' by Alice Pattullo, a colourful series inspired by historical textiles and embroideries, focusing on the nature and landscapes of England, its traditions, and folklore.
We also offer the 'Brown Paper Stripe' collection by Adam Bray, a London based interior designer who has established himself as one of the leading designers practicing in the UK today. His innovative style brings a fun and modern twist to the classic stripe in this award-winning collection of wallpapers.
Our 'Scenic' collection by Flora Roberts offers beautiful and romantic garden scenes, while our historic reproductions and bespoke service provide a unique archive of patterns dating from 1690-1960.
Our Artists & Printmakers
In 2020, we launched the first collection by the talented Artist and Decorative Painter Flora Roberts. Flora's wallpapers combine her interest in murals & textiles, atmospheric textures & patterns. A second collection launched in Spring 2022. Spring 2021 saw a brand new collaboration for Hamilton Weston with the renowned British Interior Designer Adam Bray. May 2022 saw the very first series of wallpapers from illustrator Alice Pattullo.
