Welcome to Michael Alexander Consulting Engineers, a leading independent Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy based in London. Established in 2001, we have built a reputation for innovative design excellence and an effective response to clients' needs. Our expertise covers a wide variety of buildings, in both the public and private sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, leisure facilities, educational buildings, residential, historic and listed buildings/structures. We work as both lead Consultants in engineering-oriented projects and assisting others as part of a professional team.

Our team is led by a group of experienced Directors who manage a portfolio of projects, each of which is allocated a team of Engineers and Technicians who are responsible for its successful delivery. Our Directors continue to take a very 'hands-on' approach and work very closely on each project from conception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service.

• Structural Engineering: Our services cover commercial, industrial, residential, retail, historic and listed buildings, basement and subterranean development, refurbishment and remodeling, strengthening and repairs, temporary works, facade retention, cladding repairs, structural investigations and monitoring, fire-damaged structures, and more.
• Civil Engineering: We specialize in highways and infrastructure, substructure drainage, earthworks, retaining structures, and specialist engineering support.
• Party Wall Surveying: Our services include Building Owners'/Adjoining Owners' Party Wall Surveyors, over sailing and crane licenses, scaffold licences, structural assessment of proposed works for Adjoining Owners, monitoring, and schedule of condition.
• Basement Impact Assessments and Subterranean developments.
• Construction Method Statements, site investigations and surveys, and expert witness.
