At Peter Pan Pre-School & Nursery, we are a charity-run pre-school and nursery located within Gamecock Barracks in Bramcote. We have been proudly serving the local community since 1994, providing high-quality care and education to young children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Our Sessions

We plan activities to suit each individual child's needs, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace. Our sessions are designed to provide a range of activities, allowing children to choose and work on their own tasks, building their ability to complete tasks and develop new skills. Our experienced and qualified staff also lead small and large group activities, introducing children to new experiences and helping them develop important social skills.

Our Facility

We are situated within Gamecock Barracks, surrounded by secluded woodland areas, providing ample opportunities for exploration and outdoor play. Our nursery is equipped with a variety of resources and activities, catering to the diverse needs of our children. We also have a mobile library, where children can choose books to take back to their room, promoting a love for reading and learning.

Meet Our Team

We are proud to have a team of experienced and qualified staff members, each with their own unique qualifications and expertise. Our team includes Sally Titmus, NVQ Level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development; Del Francis, BA Hons Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies; Jas, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education; Sarah Smedley, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education; Rachael Hornsby, NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education; Veti, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare; Asha Rana, NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education; and Grace Osborne, NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education.

Safety First

The safety and well-being of our children are of utmost importance. All of our staff hold pediatric first aid certificates, which are renewed every three years, and have attended training regarding safeguarding young children. Each of our children has their own key worker, who tracks their progress and development, ensuring that individual needs are catered for.

Our Rooms

Our nursery is comprised of several rooms, each designed to provide a unique and engaging environment for our children. Our Pre-School room is for children aged 3-4 years, offering a stimulating area for them to explore and develop at their own pace. Our Nursery room is for children aged 2 years, introducing them to the importance of routine and boundaries. Our Baby room is for children aged 0-2 years, providing a warm, inviting environment for them to explore and develop.

Forest School

We believe in the importance of outdoor learning and exploration. Our forest school area provides ample opportunities for children to explore, learn, and develop in a natural environment. Our experienced staff lead activities, introducing children to new experiences and helping them develop important social skills.

Key Workers

Each of our children has their own key worker, who tracks their progress and development, ensuring that individual needs are catered for. Our key workers provide a nurturing and caring environment, building strong relationships with our children and their families.
