Our Story

At Oakfield Nursery School, we are proud of our rich history and legacy. Founded in 1968, we are one of the longest established family-owned nursery schools in the UK. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, but our commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education has remained unwavering.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the diverse needs of our children, from birth to 4 years old. Our programs are carefully designed to ensure that every child receives the love, care, and support they need to thrive.

Baby Unit

Our Baby Unit is designed for children from birth to 18/20 months. Our experienced and qualified educators provide a nurturing environment that encourages sensory exploration, creativity, and language development.

Tweenies & Toddlers

Our Tweenies & Toddlers program is designed for children from 18/20 months to approximately 2.8 years old. Our educators focus on developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning and activities.

Preps

Our Preps program is designed for children from approximately 2.8 to 4.11 years old. Our educators focus on developing essential skills, including literacy, numeracy, and social skills, through play-based learning and activities.

Health & Nutrition

At Oakfield, we recognize the importance of a healthy and balanced diet for our children. Our chef prepares delicious and nutritious meals and snacks that cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.

Our Team

We take great pride in our staff, comprised of experienced and qualified educators who are passionate about providing the highest level of care and education. With a low staff turnover rate, our educators have developed strong relationships with our children and families, providing continuity of care and support.

Our Community

At Oakfield, we believe in the importance of building strong relationships with our community. We engage in various activities, sponsor local events, and support local charities. We also maintain a strong connection with our Old Oakfieldians, ensuring that the wonderful friendships established during nursery days are maintained.
