Together, we can make a difference
At Heaton House Nursery, we believe that the experiences children have in their first five years are critical in shaping their life-long learning. We recognise that, together with parents, wider family, carers, and early years professionals, we can make a positive difference to children's lives.
Our Vision
We strive to provide outstanding nursery care and education for children aged 0-5 years, setting a strong foundation for their future development. Our dedicated team of educators work closely with parents to ensure a seamless transition from home to nursery, providing a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
Our Services
At Heaton House Nursery, we offer a range of services designed to support the unique needs of each child and their family. Our private day nursery is set out over five well-resourced rooms, each tailored to a specific age group. We provide a stimulating environment that encourages learning through play, with a focus on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Our Government-funded hours schemes are designed to provide flexibility and convenience for working parents.
Our Learning Ethos
We believe that every child is unique and special, and we provide a learning environment that is tailored to the individual needs and interests of every child. We take inspiration from a wide range of early years theorists and philosophers, including Montessori, Froebel, and Reggio Emilia, to inform our approach to teaching and learning. Our experienced educators work closely with parents to identify each child's strengths and areas for development, creating a personalized learning plan that ensures every child reaches their full potential.
Our Learning Environments
Our nursery is designed to provide a stimulating and engaging environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Our five well-resourced rooms are tailored to specific age groups, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive. From our catering facilities, where we provide healthy, nutritious meals and snacks, to our outdoor play areas, where children can explore and learn through play, every aspect of our nursery is designed to support the development of the whole child.
Extra Curricular Activities
We believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom, which is why we offer a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the lives of our children. From music and movement to art and crafts, our activities are designed to foster creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
Nutrition
At Heaton House Nursery, we believe that a healthy, balanced diet is essential for optimal development. Our catering facilities provide fresh, nutritious meals and snacks, carefully prepared to meet the individual needs of each child. We work closely with parents to accommodate dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring every child feels included and supported.
Family Club
Our Family Club is designed to provide a sense of community and belonging for our parents and carers. Regular events and activities bring our community together, providing opportunities for socializing, networking, and learning.
