Our History
Michael James Hairdressing has a rich and diverse history. Founded in 1990 as The Cutting Corner in Welham Green, the salon has evolved over the years. After relocating to Borehamwood in 1993, the salon expanded to include beauty services, sunbeds, and nails. In 2005, Michael James moved to a larger premises in Borehamwood, offering 11 cutting stations and an enhanced range of services. Following a period of hiatus due to health concerns in 2008, Michael James embarked on a new chapter in 2019 with the opening of its current location on Verulam Road.
