Nicholas Olliffe Ltd is a family-run business, established in 2005, with a team of skilled craftsmen, led by Nicholas Olliffe, who brings over 30 years of experience in the industry. Our workshop is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and attention to detail in every aspect of our work.
Our Story
Nicholas Olliffe Ltd was founded by Nicholas Olliffe, who graduated from Rycotewood college in 1990. After completing a 5-year apprenticeship at Parnham House in Dorset, Nicholas went on to work for several leading designer makers both in England and abroad. He later managed a successful workshop in Oxfordshire for 8 years before deciding to set up his own workshop in 2005.
Our Team
Our team of skilled craftsmen, led by Nicholas, comprises a mix of experienced craftsmen and apprentices, who work together to guarantee exceptional quality in every aspect of our work. We believe that passing skills and techniques to the younger generation is crucial to maintaining the craft of furniture making. Therefore, we employ a local apprentice who attends college once a week to learn from our skilled team of cabinet makers.
