Welcome to Park View Pilates, the leading Pilates company in Surrey and South West London. Our mission is to promote exercise for health and wellbeing, helping you to strengthen your body and improve your daily life. We specialise in exercise that is recommended by medical professionals, including physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors, to help rehabilitate injuries and reduce back pain.

Our classes are mixed ability and suitable for all levels of fitness and Pilates experience, including complete beginners. We offer classes in Sutton, Wallington, Purley, Banstead, and Epsom Downs, as well as 1-2-1 sessions at our Sutton studio and 1-2-1 sessions and private group classes at your home or workplace.

Pilates

Pilates is a slow, controlled form of exercise centred around the core. Our classes combine strengthening work along with exercises to improve mobility and flexibility. It's recommended by GPs, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and osteopaths and is one of the best forms of exercise for those with back-related issues. Pilates helps to:

  • Strengthen the pelvic floor (so very good for post-natal women and those suffering from stress incontinence)

Personal Training

Our personal training services are tailored to meet your individual needs. We offer 1-2-1 sessions with our fully qualified and insured Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer, Lorraine Thurlow. Our personal training sessions are designed to help you achieve your fitness goals, whether that's to improve your strength, mobility, or overall health and wellbeing.

Bad Backs

At Park View Pilates, we specialise in helping people with back pain. Our founder, Lorraine Thurlow, suffered from years of back and neck pain after a car accident at the age of 20. Wanting to help people manage their back pain is the main reason why she decided to retrain for a career in the fitness industry. We offer Pilates classes and 1-2-1 sessions that are specifically designed to help people with bad backs.
