Welcome to Little Owls, a charming Forest School nestled in the picturesque countryside of Witchampton, yet only a mere 10 minutes away from the town centre of Wimborne. At Little Owls, we are firm believers that learning should be an enjoyable, exciting, and fun experience. We strive to create an environment where children can discover their world, learn, and explore new experiences through play, which will stay with them forever.

At Little Owls, we are committed to nurturing every child, helping them to believe in themselves, and to feel that they know who they are and what makes them happy. We aim to encourage the resilience, independence, and confidence in our children to embrace challenges and new experiences. Our ethos is to captivate our children's engagement with the excitement and wonder that learning can bring, developing their sense of curiosity. We provide a safe and enriching environment that safeguards and enhances our children's understanding of the natural and physical world.

Our charity is headed by our manager, Katie Keeble. Katie has been with Little Owls since 2022 and has a natural passion for the magic of early years. She has a loving family with two teenage children and a menagerie of pets. Our deputy manager is Wendy Gale, who has been with us for 20 years and has two grown-up children. She loves our countryside setting and our family feel, which enhances our children's start to their education. Our team is completed by Tina Law, Sarah Styles, Kirsty Browning, and Emma Vowles, all of whom bring their unique skills and experiences to the table.

Our Ethos

At Little Owls, we are committed to providing the best possible start to your child's education and development. Our key-person system ensures that children are emotionally secure, providing an excellent base for them to explore and gain confidence. Our highly qualified and motivated staff ensure that we provide a loving, caring, safe environment in which all our children are given the opportunity to grow and develop in every aspect of their life.

Outdoor learning has always been fundamental to our approach, and we are taking that development a step further through our new Forest School programme. We believe that learning should be enjoyable, exciting, and fun, and we are confident that children will find Little Owls a place where they can discover their world, learn and explore new experiences through play.

We have an absolute commitment to the safeguarding of children. We recognise that each child is unique and in partnership with parents, we aim to provide an enabling environment for every child to reach their full potential.
