I'm Kirsty, the passionate owner and floral designer behind River and Rose Floral Design. My journey in the world of floral design began over 17 years ago, ignited by a profound love for the beauty and fragility of flowers. Starting as a shop assistant, I quickly realized this was more than just a job, it was a calling. My thirst for knowledge led me to pursue my NVQ level 2 qualification, meticulously honing my skills and expanding my floral repertoire.
In 2014, my desire to balance work-life flexibility and the need for more creative control led to the birth of River and Rose Floral Design. Working from my garden shed, I meticulously crafted bespoke arrangements for clients in the local area. As my passion and reputation grew, I expanded my business, culminating in the delightful opening of my own flower shop in the charming town of Knaresborough in 2022.
