Team Mushin is a non-profit martial arts academy based in Norris Green, Liverpool, dedicated to teaching the art of Ju-Jitsu to children, beginners, and adults. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can learn new skills, build confidence, and make new friends.
Our Ethos
At Team Mushin, we believe that martial arts can be a powerful tool for personal development. Through our teaching, we instil core values such as respect, honour, compassion, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. Our ethos is rooted in the traditional Japanese Ju-Jitsu style of Juko Ryu, but we have developed a modern approach that is relevant to today's society.
Our Classes
We offer a range of classes to suit all ages and abilities, including:
- Junior Ju-Jitsu: Our junior classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching essential self-defence skills.
- Adult Ju-Jitsu: Our adult classes cater to both beginners and experienced practitioners, with a focus on technique, conditioning, and self-defence.
- Adult Beginners Ju-Jitsu: These classes are perfect for those who are new to martial arts and want to learn the basics in a supportive environment.

Our Instructors
All of our instructors are fully qualified and have competed and coached in their specialist sports. They are passionate about martial arts and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. Our instructors treat each person as an individual and tailor support to their needs, creating champions in life and role models for others to follow.
Our Facilities
Our gym is a fun and friendly environment, equipped with everything you need for your martial arts training. We have a clean and well-maintained training area, changing rooms, and spectator seating. Our facilities are accessible to people of all abilities, and we offer in-house qualifications to help our students develop their skills and knowledge.

We offer a range of membership options to suit your needs, including Pro and Elite membership for regular attenders and a Pay-as-you-go option for occasional attenders. All students get their first lesson free to try us out. We believe that martial arts should be accessible to everyone, which is why we offer competitive pricing and flexible membership options.
