Teeny Days Nursery has been providing nurturing and stimulating childcare for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children in Luton and surrounding areas for several years. Under new management since June 2019, we completed a full refurbishment while retaining our highly qualified and experienced team. Our owner, Tahareem Farquhar, holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a PGCE in Primary Education, with over two decades of experience in education locally, nationally, and internationally. We prioritise creating a 'home from home' environment, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework while offering flexible, child-centred learning opportunities. Our staff are carefully selected professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care and education.

We focus on positive parent partnerships, safe and stimulating surroundings, and tailored learning experiences to help children thrive. We also provide free funded childcare options for eligible families, supporting working parents through government schemes. Our nursery accommodates children aged 3 months to 5 years, with designated learning zones and structured activities designed to develop essential skills. We maintain strong links with local schools to ease children's transition to formal education. Services
Baby care
Our baby room provides a warm, secure environment for infants aged 3 months to 2 years. Specially designed resources and dedicated caregivers ensure optimal development through sensory play, routine-based care, and early communication activities. We maintain low staff-to-child ratios to guarantee individual attention while building trust and emotional security.
Toddler programs
For children aged 2-3 years, our toddler programs balance structured activities with free exploration. Learning zones encourage motor skill development, social interaction, and creative expression through themed play areas, storytelling sessions, and outdoor physical activities aligned with EYFS requirements for this developmental stage.
Preschool education
Our preschool provision for 3-5 year olds focuses on school readiness through play-based learning. Children engage in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving activities while developing independence and social skills. Daily learning diaries document progress against key educational milestones in preparation for formal schooling.
Funded childcare
We offer eligible families 15 hours weekly childcare for 2-year-olds and 30 hours for children aged 9 months to 4 years starting 2025. Our team assists with eligibility checks and paperwork completion to help working parents access these government-funded schemes.
Flexible hours
Operating Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, we accommodate working parents' schedules with consistent drop-off and collection times. Our location near Luton's transport hubs enhances accessibility for families across the region.
