Downs Engraving

Downs Engraving, a company based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, was established in 1989. We identified a gap in the engraving and labelling market at the time and began by supplying labels and nameplates. As our business developed, we expanded our offerings to include more complex work such as mimic diagram facias and machining various shapes and fixtures. Initially, we used manual pantograph engraving machines, which were prevalent in the engraving industry. However, within a few years, we invested in new techniques and CNC computerised engraving machines to increase our productivity and competitiveness in the market place.

Our business has always taken a progressive approach to technology, continually investing in the latest systems when necessary. Currently, we have no less than 8 CNC machines and numerous other marking systems. We also offer a full logo design and artworking service from our studio, catering to many of our customers' needs.
