Partner
Charles has built up considerable experience over the past 10 years specialising in advising and assisting entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses with their forward strategy and compliance requirements. Charles qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with Cottons in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Economics, and after a 5 year stint working with a portfolio of SMEs in a variety of sectors at a top 12 firm, returned to Cottons in 2022 to contribute to its continued expansion.

Sarah joined Cottons in 2017 as part of Will Smarts team and is based in our Northampton office. Sarah has over 19 years experience in the industry and is qualified AAT and ACCA. She has also been awarded a Fellowship with ACCA which is for continuous membership and professional development This represents her extensive experience and commitment to professionalism and ethics. She works closely with many owner-managed SMEs in a wide range of industries ensuring their compliance but also ensuring good communication with her clients for the best possible advice/planning, without the jargon. She has vast knowledge of cloud accounting and is certified to use both Xero and FreeAgent, as well as being a Xero Champion.

Sarah is a Chartered Accountant based at Cottons Northampton office. She works mostly with owner-managed SMEs across a broad range of industries, including new businesses as well as those already established. Sarah also specialises in Solicitors Accounts Rules work, and leads Cottons dedicated team. She trains others and works with a range of solicitors across the county to provide expert advice and guidance.
Enamul Khan
Partner
Enamul joined Cottons in 2014 and qualified as a member of ACCA in the same year. He is also Xero certified. Enamul is based in our Daventry office where he works closely with a wide range of SMEs assisting them with their tax and accounting requirements and is also a part of our audit team. He manages the work flow in the office and is involved in the training and development of our junior members of staff.

Luke joined Cottons in June 2024 as a Tax Partner and has over 20 years experience in providing tax compliance and advisory services to all sizes of business, their owners, within the UK and also internationally. Prior to joining Cottons, Luke spent 6 years as a Partner of a Top 40 accounting practice and before then spent 13 years at a Top 15 practice. Lukes expertise spans a wide array of tax areas, including Company Tax, Income Tax, Stamp Duty Land Tax, VAT, Inheritance Tax, and Employment Taxes.

I have been using Cottons Accountants for 18 years. I feel I can entirely trust them to get it right. I submit what I know, and they do all the rest. They are friendly and the phone is answered whenever I call. As a self employed person, not having to worry about getting taxation right, is well worth the charge.
