Took their afternoon ground tour and it was fabulous. It was an extremely hot day in Newport and being out on the water felt so nice. The guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire time. The included Dels lemonade is a great touch and hit the spot. The ladies that come around serving the lemonade and drinks did a great job. Highly recommend this tour and it was priced just right as well.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time with Gansett Cruises. The captain, tour narrator, and server were fantastic. The cruise offered free refreshments, with the option to purchase alcoholic beverages. We learned a lot and enjoyed breathtaking views, along with a smooth and comfortable ride.

This is one of the best tours I have taken in Newport. Patrick is knowledgeable and very entertaining, he even answered some random questions we asked about landmarks. The lemonade was very refreshing, beer and wine available for purchase onboard. You can buy tickets in advance on their website. This tour sells out on busy days, so book in advance.

Easily one of the best things to do in Newport. The boat is very spacious and comfortable with great views from every seat. The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and knowledge about all of the sights, boats, and beautiful houses along the way. Tasty drinks and delicious clam stuffies are such a bonus too. Highly recommend! Cant wait to go for another cruise around the bay!

Everything went great from start to finish. We normally do one of the sailing excursions when in town but so happy we tried Gansett Cruises motorized boat this year. The great advantage of this boat was that it got us up close to the grand mansions and super yachts. Great staff on board! I highly recommend this excursion.

What a beautiful time on the afternoon cruise! Boarding was super easy... the boat was nice, modern, and clean. The Del's lemonade was the perfect refresher. Patrick needs his own show. His knowledge of all things nautical and Newport were super impressive... and he was a hoot to add! I would definitely recommend this cruise!!

Definitely want to try the sunset one the next time we are in town!

We have visited Newport many times but this was our first cruise. Really enjoyed it! Bo was a great tour guide. Well worth it for an 1 1/2 hour tour of the harbor and part of Narragansett Bay up to the Jamestown Bridge. Sat up top with unobstructed views, saw many lighthouses, beautiful mansions, yachts and learned quite a bit of local history. Dont miss it!

This 90 minute cruise is more than worth it. It is an amazing trip through the bay almost to the Atlantic Ocean. The Tour Guide gives an incredible performance while you boat past historic places, historic boats, and some of the most amazing yachts you've ever seen. The education that you get, the service that you receive are second to none. I have taken my children on this cruise, I have taken my love on the cruise. It is definitely worth every penny and a showstopper if it's date night. This place is on top-5 day cruise in the United States status.

Took the Gansett Cruise boat tour the morning before a friends' wedding, and it was the perfect "field trip" activity for a group for of us to get up and moving in the morning and see the sights. The waitstaff was prompt, serving Narragansett beers, mimoas and also liquor drinks. Highly recommend!

I grew up in RI and have been to Newport countless times, but taking this tour was a wonderful experience. Chris narrated beautifully and I learned a lot. I believe the other staff member's name was Sarah, she was very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend the mimosa cruise!!
