In 2006, following a successful 20-year career in the food industry, I decided it was the right time to establish my own business, and with a strong interest in property, I chose to set up a Northwood Franchise in Peterborough.
I was particularly impressed by the level of professionalism and integrity that Northwood demonstrates towards its customers. All our landlord management contracts are reviewed annually by the Trading Standards Institute, we are part of the Property Ombudsman redress scheme, and Northwood is a founding member of the Propertymark scheme.
My responsibilities are varied, but my primary duties involve managing the financial aspects of the business and providing guidance to landlords on all matters related to property management. Outside of Northwood, my main hobby is golf, and I aim to play every week.

Jill thrives on paying close attention to detail and ensuring the office operates efficiently. She has been part of Northwood Peterborough since its beginning in 2006, working part-time, and enjoys the challenge of managing the office's daily activities.
She recently ended her 32-year nursing career to focus full-time on delivering excellent customer service to landlords and tenants, and growing the business. Jill is fully qualified with Propertymark to guarantee compliance, especially for licensed landlords and properties in the Peterborough area.
Outside of work, Jill has three main interests: travel, travel, and more travel.

As Landlords we have used Northwoods Peterborough for the last 10 years, to manage a number of local rental properties. The people at Northwoods have always been efficient, polite and friendly and provided a great service that has taken away most of the worries that you can have as a landlord. Northwood Peterborough have been my Letting Agent for about 16 years and I have found them to be excellent. Very prompt to raise concerns from the tenants or the regular inspections with me and the team of contractors that they usually use are highly competitive on price and the workmanship is very good, allowing the quick and cost effective resolution of any issues.
My tenants have always been really good and have rented my flat for long periods which I believe demonstrates that they feel well supported and that any issues or repairs that arise are addressed immediately through Northwood.
I particularly like Northwood's no nonsense, straight talking approach balancing the needs of the landlord and tenant with ease. I have also found their advice and guidance to be reliable and accurate.
I would highly recommend them as Letting Agents.

Norwood Peterborough have being letting my properties on my behalf for over a decade now . I would just like to say that Northwood Peterborough have let out my property for over 5 years and I am very happy with the service they provide. They look after everything very efficiently and this means I do not have to worry about anything. I have had the same tenant for all that time and they also seem to be happy with Northwood. Northwood Peterborough Estate & Letting Agent has been managing; letting, my 2-bed property, for well over 10 years. I have found the entire team to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, very reliable, very friendly and trustworthy. Special mention to Jill, Andrew, Rebecca and Emma.
Accurate records are maintained concerning all aspects of my property managment and maintenance, Health & Safety Checks etc.
If something needs to be 'fixed' on my property, I'm informed quickly via email and visual evidence and given the option of employing a contractor of my choice. They also have a team of suitably qualified contractors who have carried out recommended maintenance work, identified by Legal Bodies, to a high standard and in a timely manner.
I recommend Northwood Estate Agent highly. Thanks for making the experience far less stressful.

My experience being a tenant for more than two years at a property under Northwood letting agency was a positive one. The agency in general tried their best to resolve any issue that came up during the tenancy period. Moving out was an exceptionally smooth process on the agency’s part -clear instructions were given and the member of staff that I was dealing with was nothing but polite and helpful.
