Our full garden design service offers a structured and professional approach to transforming your outdoor space. Design fees start at 2,500 and are agreed in writing following consultation. The package includes a garden survey, concept and outline designs with 3D views, technical specifications, construction drawings, and a planting plan suitable for implementation by a landscaper. 
Our service focuses on thoughtful plant selection and accurate placement to complete your garden design. We oversee sourcing and on-site arrangement to achieve a cohesive result. Planting design costs start at 500, reflecting the project requirements. If required, planting, tender support, and site visits are provided at 30 per hour. 
We begin with a visit to your garden, where we walk the space together and discuss how you would like it to evolve. You are invited to share your ideas, practical needs, and budget considerations. We provide professional guidance to shape a clear direction. This meeting also allows us to establish suitability before progressing to a full garden design. Prices start at 150 for a two-hour consultation, including a written report.

I am the principal designer and owner of Gerbera Designs, which specializes in garden design. I obtained my qualification as a garden designer in 2009, achieving an HNC in Garden Design with distinction from the Scottish Agricultural College in Aberdeen.
I also complemented my studies by attending Aberdeen College, where I earned the RHS 2 Certificate in Horticulture in 2007. Additionally, I regularly contribute as a garden design columnist for Scotland Grows.

Joanne was very professional. She produced a planting design for our newly landscaped garden which fitted with our requests. The process was very good and efficient. New to the area , after downsizing to a new build bungalow, internet research led me to Joanne. I am not a gardener and Joanne patiently devised a super garden design with detailed planting plan to meet my objectives of creating a lovely outside space. She organised everything: coming up with ideas to inform the design; sourcing plants; installing plants; liaising with the builder and also engaging with the right people to prepare the ground.
