If you're looking for a good piano, the best place is Mark Goodwin's in Oldham. Mark is very fair with his prices, especially Yamahas and Kawais and offers help in every way. When I'm ready to buy my Kawai upright, I'll definitely give his pianos first option!

We bought a Yamaha U1 from Mark Goodwin Pianos and have been delighted, both with the purchase experience and the piano itself. The piano plays beautifully and looks brand new. Mark and his team delivered the piano to us expertly, and were always on hand to answer each and every question and request for advice we had. I would buy again from them without hesitation.

Mark, Julie and Ollie were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They took the time to answer all my questions promptly and with great detail, opened the showroom on a Sunday to allow me to visit and even liaised with the previous owner of the piano to arrange for the original paperwork to be posted to me. Great buying experience. The showroom has so many pianos to view and play, and with its location out of town, you don't feel like you're paying a premium just for the expensive address. Indeed, prices compared very favourably to other places we looked at. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful but were hands off and not pushy to give you time to browse. We didn't feel at all rushed or pressured. Buying process, delivery, after service all excellent. Extras like piano stool included, free first tuning etc all add to the advantage over other stores. I'd definitely recommend.

I've had fantastic service from Mark Goodwin from start to finish. My Dad played a number of pianos in the Manchester showroom on my behalf and received helpful and friendly advice. The piano I chose has been excellent and high quality. The refurbishment of the piano was seriously impressive and I couldn't believe the piano was 35 years old as it looks like new. The piano movers Mark Goodwin uses were professional and my piano arrived safely. I also received a free piano tuning session by an excellent tuner. All in all very happy with the professional service, quality of piano and great value for money and customer service. Thank you!

Mark’s team was very professional throughout. The Yamaha U1 piano was amazing within my budget. I was little worried at first with the tone but Mark and his technician managed to adjust it to a softer and more mellow tone. The delivery guys were very friendly and professional. The whole delivery only lasted for 10-15 minutes. In general, the services provided by Mark’s team were excellent!!! The boys love the piano!

We were looking for a refurbished Yamaha upright piano and they had a really good choice at their showroom in Oldham. Julie was really friendly and helpful and we were able to afford a beautiful U3 thanks to the 0% finance offer. It was delivered within a week and our old piano was taken away in part exchange. The whole experience from start to finish was so stress-free and smooth; you can tell they really care about their customers as well as their pianos! Can't recommend highly enough.
