LOLER 1998 imposes responsibilities on organisations and those responsible for lifting equipment, including where employees use such equipment. We provide LOLER examinations to confirm equipment is fit for purpose, clearly marked, and regularly examined. Our engineer surveyors support ongoing compliance with LOLER requirements. Examination frequency varies according to use, with lifting people requiring increased checks. 
We offer PUWER inspections designed to maintain safe working practices across the UK. The regulations ensure that work equipment is used in a safe and controlled manner, protecting those in the workplace and others affected. They extend across a wide variety of machinery, tools and related equipment. In accordance with Regulation 6, we carry out inspections at appropriate intervals and after incidents that may affect safety. 
LEV examinations are carried out by our competent team to ensure Local Exhaust Ventilation systems remain compliant with COSHH 2002 requirements. Certain processes such as grinding, abrasion and metal finishing require more frequent checks, including biannual inspections. We inspect a wide range of equipment including fume cupboards, spray booths, welding and soldering extraction, wood dust extraction and firing range systems. 
Our service ensures compliance with the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR). We prepare Written Schemes of Examination under Regulation 8, produced by a competent person, and then carry out inspections and reporting under Regulation 9. This helps businesses remain compliant and safe across all regulated pressure system requirements. 
WAHR examinations are delivered to ensure adherence to the Working at Height Regulations 2005. Under Regulation 12, equipment dependent on installation or assembly must be inspected before use. Inspections are also undertaken at suitable intervals and following exceptional circumstances. This includes ladders, fall arrest equipment, harnesses and lanyards.
