California contractors receive a Workers' Compensation review based on their actual business circumstances. We assess the license classification, employee status, payroll, job duties, ownership, prior losses, subcontractor practices, and certificate requirements. Multiple insurance markets may be reviewed for eligible options, while contractors without employees receive additional consideration of CSLB requirements, exemptions, and Ghost Policy eligibility. 
We help eligible California contractors understand whether a ghost policy may address their workers compensation requirements. This industry term refers to a zero-payroll arrangement generally intended for sole proprietors without employees. Contractors Pollution Liability also addresses specified asbestos, lead paint, mold, and biological-agent exposures. In addition, the policy can provide coverage for third-party cleanup, regulatory expenses, attorney fees, court costs, and settlements. 
We help California contractors obtain excess liability and umbrella insurance with additional limits ranging from $1 million to $5 million or more. Workers comp for excavation work is a straight up nightmare in California. Got canceled by two carriers before I even hit my second year. This guys (the agency) actually sat down and listened to how we run our crews and our safety program and found a carrier that would write us without absolutely destroying me on price. They also pulled through on a performance bond for a commercial job when my old broker basically said good luck. If you do concrete or excavation and need workers comp or a bond in CA, these are the people to call. They pick up the phone too which says a lot these days

Been running my roofing company out of Sacramento for about 9 years now and honestly I dreaded every renewal.
