Mulberry Corner Day Nursery, located in Chandlers Ford, is a home-from-home nursery that has been serving the local community for over 30 years. We are proud to be a family-run group, with a strong reputation for providing high-quality childcare services. Our sister nursery, Toddletown Day Nursery, is located in Farncombe and Farnham, further enhancing our commitment to families in the area.

Our nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, welcoming babies from 3 months to school age. We understand that every child is unique, and our highly qualified and experienced staff team ensures that each child in our care is respected and valued as an individual. We offer a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to be strong, independent learners while also feeling secure and loved. Our core opening hours are from 8am to 6pm, and we offer flexible booking patterns to suit the needs of busy families.

Location and Accessibility

Our nursery is conveniently located near both Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh train stations, making it an ideal choice for families commuting to work. We also have a large driveway and parking options, making it easy for families who come by car. Our buggy park at the front of the nursery provides a convenient storage option for families who prefer to walk.

Our Philosophy and Approach

At Mulberry Corner, we believe that children learn best through play. We offer endless opportunities for children to explore new and exciting activities and resources, while also being respectful of their familiar comforts and personal interests. We use many natural resources to enhance our environment and encourage a passion for the outdoor environment by using our garden throughout the day.

The preschool children at Mulberry Corner follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which sets out the learning and development stages for children from birth to five years old. We use a variety of teaching methods and strategies, including elements from many theorists and childcare experts, to create a learning programme that is tailored to meet the different needs and interests of each child.

Our Staff Team

Our staff team is made up of highly qualified and experienced early years practitioners, who are committed to providing the best possible care and education for the children in our setting. We have a low staff turnover rate, which means that children and families can build strong and lasting relationships with our team members.

Our Directors, Amanda and Zoe, have over 25 years of experience in the childcare industry and are passionate about providing high-quality care and education. Our Room Leaders, Rheagan and Gemma, are responsible for the day-to-day management of our rooms, while our Early Years Practitioners and Assistants provide direct care and education for the children.

Food and Nutrition

At Mulberry Corner, we believe that healthy eating is essential for a child's growth and development. Our in-house kitchen team prepares fresh meals and snacks every day, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We cater for all dietary requirements and preferences.
