Technical Design and Building Control

Our technical design capabilities enable us to provide comprehensive information for the effective implementation of projects. Our detailed drawing work is specifically tailored to create practical, cost-effective, and safely executable solutions on site. We offer a complete service, including Building Control approval from local authorities or Approved Inspectors, and provide full liaison with other specialist consultants and bodies involved in the detailed process. We can also advise on the appointment of Specialist Consultants when required.

Project Management and Construction

MJB Architecture offers a full project management service, which includes procuring tenders and competitive prices from contractors and specialists, setting up and administering formal building contracts between clients and selected contractors, coordinating and supervising works through to completion, and drawing upon our extensive experience working closely with construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. The level of our involvement is tailored to suit the complexity of the project or the specific needs of our clients.

Our recent projects, such as the modern contemporary new build and the commercial award-winning HQ building for Vega Controls UK, demonstrate our commitment to this goal. We are proud to have, for the second year running, won the commercial award at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards 2022 for Vega Controls UK's new HQ building. Additionally, our project for Jemtech UK, Alexander House, has won the 2021 Sussex Heritage Trust Commercial Award.
