Anscombe and Sons Limited is a local family business established in 1952, providing a quality building service throughout Hampshire and the surrounding areas. We specialise in period and country homes, particularly listed properties. However, we undertake all types of building work from small renovations and extensions to full-scale rebuilds and new builds, for a variety of properties, old or new.

Our contractors have a good working relationship with the local planning and conservation officers and also work closely with architects to ensure a trouble-free project. They will ensure that all mandatory inspections are carried out by the local authorities to expedite the issuance of completion certificates.

We have a workforce of 7 to 10 permanent staff and also have access to reliable sub-contractors, including highly skilled craftsmen. Our team is experienced in lime plastering/rendering, bespoke joinery, carpentry, brickwork, and other specialisms required for period and country homes.
