At BM Metals, we accept any scrap metal from the list displayed on our website. Whether you are an individual with a single item to dispose of or a business with a large load, no job is too small or too big for us. We regularly work with tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers, as well as commercial builders and scrap collectors. If you are planning to bring a large load, we would appreciate it if you could call ahead so that we can prepare for your visit.
The metals we accept include aluminium, brass, copper, lead, stainless steel, and cables (household, overhead, and underground). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept ferrous metals, iron, steel, or white goods. If you are unsure whether we will accept your scrap or have questions about the best rate we can offer for metals, please do not hesitate to contact us.

At BM Metals, we are committed to disposing of scrap metal efficiently and responsibly. We are proud to be scrap metal dealers in Glasgow who adhere to all legal requirements, including the introduction of cashless trading in 2016. This means that we are unable to pay cash directly to customers for any scrap metal. Instead, we offer a range of payment options, including instant bank transfers, once an account is opened.
We are also required to obtain ID and address verification for all customers. Once your account is set up, we will not require ID on your next visit. When taking metal to scrap, you will need to bring ID and address verification, as well as your bank details if you wish to be paid via instant transfer.

We are conveniently located just off the M8 (Jcn 14) and situated behind the famous Blochairn Market. Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 16.30, and on Saturdays from 8.00 to 12.00.
