In the 1990s, Alan spent a year traveling Australia, where he worked at the Arunta Gallery in Alice Springs. This experience took him out of his comfort zone, presenting new challenges and opportunities to work with Aboriginal art on canvas and wood.
Upon his return to the UK, Alan set up his own business, focusing on special projects and high-end bespoke framing. As market trends and client preferences evolved, Alan adapted to meet the demand for memorabilia framing, specializing in box frames for signed football and rugby shirts.
