We are located in the delightful semi-rural setting of Bovingdon Green Village Hall, just a short distance from Marlow town centre. The school was founded over 20 years ago by Jan Lundie, who spent many years building a strong ethos and set of values. In 2023, Alba Nurseries took over the school, ensuring a continuation of Jan's legacy.
Our Services
At Alba Marlow Montessori School, we offer a range of services tailored to meet the needs of each child and their family. Our sessions run from Monday to Friday during term time, with mornings from 9:15 to 12:15, afternoons from 12:45 to 3:34, and full days from 9:15 to 3:45. We also offer a lunch club option.
In addition to our classroom learning, we offer a Forest School experience. This experience takes some of its ideas from the Montessori method and encourages children to develop their personal, social, and emotional skills through activities that have them directly interacting with their natural surroundings and with each other. We believe that this experience adds a unique and valuable dimension to our children's learning.
Our curriculum is based on the Montessori method and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. We believe that this combination provides a rich and stimulating learning environment that supports children's development in all areas.
