Target Publishing, a family-run and owned business, has come a long way since its inception in 2000. With humble beginnings, our story began when experienced publisher David Cann and his wife, Suzanne Cann, bought Health Food Business from Bestway Designs Ltd. David's career in publishing took flight at the London Daily News/Mirror Group, where he later moved to Market Link Publishing, becoming a Board Director and Shareholder. His instrumental role in growing the business laid the foundation for Target Publishing.

Our first title, Health Food Business, soon expanded with the addition of two successful health food trade shows in Brighton and Harrogate, the Natural Trade Shows. In-store consumer title Natural Lifestyle joined the ranks, and our successful formula of trade and consumer titles extended to the complementary health and leisure sectors. The launch of IHCAN magazine and Outdoor Enthusiast marked the beginning of our journey in these new sectors. IHCAN Lifestyle (re-branded to True Health in 2014) and Outdoor Enthusiast Retailer soon followed.

Today, Target Publishing stands tall as one of the UK's leading independent publishers. Our team of over 30 dedicated individuals works tirelessly across 20 titles, producing 100 issues a year, and organising 30 events annually. We take pride in our family-owned and run status, with David and Suzanne still very much part of our vision and strategy for the future.
