Our History
Our story began in 1859 when John Elliott Fielder established himself as a builder, joiner, and wheelwright in Pocklington. He later began supplying coffins to the local community, entering into the 'undertaking' profession. Over the years, our family has continued to build on this legacy, expanding our services and locations to provide comprehensive support to the community. Today, we have funeral homes in York, Pocklington, Market Weighton, Tadcaster, Wheldrake, and Easingwold, guaranteeing that help is at hand whenever it is needed, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
