Established in 1952, Hall's Garden Centre is a family run partnership that has been serving the community for over six decades. Our extensive experience and commitment to quality have made us one of the most trusted garden centres in the UK, catering to both local and international customers.
Our History
In 1952, the Hall Family set up its first landscape company in Hurst Lane, Castle Bromwich. Over the years, it has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the UK's most successful Garden Centres, serving the UK and overseas. In 1958, we opened our second garden centre on Chester Road, New Oscott in Sutton Coldfield, which was formerly the site of a farm that supplied the students from Oscott College with milk and dairy products. In 1961, we established our Castle Bromwich Garden Centre, which has since become a landmark in the area.

Garden Centre
Our Garden Centre is stocked with everything you need to create and maintain a beautiful garden. From plants and flowers to sheds and greenhouses, we have everything you need to get started. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to provide expert advice and guidance, ensuring that you make the right choices for your garden.
Garden Ornaments
Our Garden Ornaments section offers a wide range of metal, resin, and stone ornaments that add interest and structure to your garden. From classical subjects to more whimsical items, we have a comprehensive selection of ornaments that can be used to create a specific garden theme. Our selection of Japanese and Chinese subjects, including lanterns and pagodas, is particularly popular, as is our range of fantasy, horror, and Gothic imagery, especially at Halloween.
Garden Ponds & Features
Our Aquatic Superstore is one of the largest in the country and contains everything a pond and fishkeeper requires for their hobby. Located above our inspirational landscaped Japanese water garden, the superstore has a comprehensive range of stock, and trained staff are always on hand, ready to help and offer advice. Our outdoor section features a large variety of water features, both self-contained and for use in ponds, ranging from modest ornaments to sizeable pools and splendid fountains.
Aquariums & Livestock
Our Aquatic Superstore also features an Aquarium Showroom, an indoor Koi pool, and display areas, including a new Marine Section. Here, you'll be inspired by the Orient with a huge variety of pond plants, ornaments, water features, and cascades. Inside the large Aquatic Superstore, you will find an Aquarium Showroom, an indoor Koi pool, and display areas, including a new Marine Section. We stock Live Rock, Corals, all the favourite Marine Fish, Marine Accessories, and R.O. Water.
Gift Vouchers
We stock National Garden Gift Vouchers, which can be redeemed at over 2,000 leading garden centres and garden retail outlets across the UK. Our Gift Ideas section features an extensive range of seasonal gifts, including garden tools, protective clothing, and seasonal plants and bulbs.
The Garden Room
Our Garden Room is open seven days a week and offers a tastefully decorated and relaxed atmosphere. Our menu features a hearty cooked breakfast, a light lunch, an afternoon tea, or just a coffee and cake, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day of gardening.
