- Olly Crowden: "I took my Hayter 41 in for repair as the height adjuster was broken and the drive belt also needed replacing. I was told the front axel also needed replacing. The total cost was going to be just over 250! I decided to take it to another company. This company also said that the pull cord needed replacing as did the carburettor. So, the axel, pull cord, height adjuster, carburettor and drive belt using new parts from Hayter, would cost 100! and that included labour. Hurley used to be great company who prided themselves in looking after their customers. Unfortunately, this no longer seems to be the case."
- Steve Davis: "I took 4 wheel hubs in to have the bearing fitted I removed the old bearing accept one of them and supplied the new ones at a very expensive 376.00 never will I use them again or recommend them to anyone. A absolut RIP off."
- Geoffrey Simmons: "Having phoned in advance to request some work, I went to the shop with several images of the project as requested. Various points were covered during the initial call, however on arrival there was some confusion over the information taken. The technician I spoke to was fairly terse, and extremely short with me. I left the shop with no technical information, no quote and no recommendations of other companies or techniques. I will go elsewhere in future."
