At Chapel Lane, we offer a curriculum-based education in a nurturing setting, allowing us to provide the "best of both worlds" for your child's Pre-School education. Our educational approach emphasizes the Early Years Foundations Stage, offering a statutory framework that underpins your child's learning and development to ensure they make excellent progress. Our team meticulously plans both our indoor and outdoor areas around the children's interests, making learning enjoyable, engaging, and relevant to your child's unique passions and curiosities.
As we prepare your child's mind, self-esteem, and confidence for school life, we also provide opportunities for hands-on sensory experiences and first-hand adventures, such as bug hunting, splashing in puddles, and engaging in imaginative play. Our exceptional resources, facilities, and activities are tailored to foster independence and curiosity, allowing your child to initiate their own learning and develop a strong sense of self-reliance.
Additional benefits of our Pre-School programme include:
- Timetabled activities that introduce children to the structured routine they will experience in Primary School
- One-to-one meetings with their Primary School teacher, allowing us to build relationships and familiarity between our Pre-School children and their new teachers before they begin their Primary School journey
