Providing the Solution

Our team of skilled engineers design and manufacture a range of hot plate plastic welding, infra-red plastic welding, ultrasonic plastic welding, and heat staking machines. From horizontal welding machines to rotary transfer welding machines, and from manual operations to fully automatic systems, we cater to a variety of manufacturing applications. We also offer leak and flow testing, blow moulding lost end saws, and finishing jigs and fixtures to ensure that every component meets the highest quality standards.

Building the Equipment & Pre-Shipment Testing

Before manufacturing, we review all designs to ensure they meet our high standards. The fabrication, mechanical component manufacture, control assembly, and final assembly process is carried out with precision. All machines undergo extensive production trials, including rigorous machine safety and functionality testing with actual customer-supplied samples.

Commissioning, Training and Support

Our involvement doesn't end with the manufacture of the machine. We provide full training for your maintenance staff and operators on-site or at our demonstration and training centre in York. If required, our installation team can commission the machines on-site. We also offer continued support through free telephone assistance during working hours, spare requirements, future modifications, and overhaul of machines.

Hot Plate Welding

Hot plate welding is a conventional method of bringing two or more plastic components into contact with a hot metal plate. The heat from the plate melts the closest surfaces of the components, and then, as the plate is withdrawn, the components are brought into contact with each other and allowed to cool, resulting in a strong and reliable bond. We offer a variety of hot plate welding machines, from manual operation to fully automatic, to suit the manufacturing application.
