Tyler Hill Bonfire

Tyler Hill Fireworks is a quintessential village event that has been taking place in Tyler Hill, Canterbury for over 30 years. With the majority of volunteers hailing from the local community, our event is a true celebration of unity and family fun.

Our event has something for everyone. For the young ones, we have a variety of children's fairground rides, a coconut shy, and a tombola stall. We also sell glow-in-the-dark products that are sure to make everyone stand out. Our music entertainment caters to both young and old, adding to the lively atmosphere that we pride ourselves on.

No village event would be complete without food, and we offer a variety of options to satisfy everyone's tastes. From hot and cold refreshments to an ice cream van, there's something for everyone.

Our Attractions

Our bonfire is a sight to behold, standing nearly as high as a house. Built by locals and villagers over a period of six weeks, it's a true testament to the spirit of community that we uphold. Our firework display is one of the best around, making everyone "oooh" and "aahh" in all the right places.

Safety Information

At Tyler Hill Fireworks, we take everyone's safety seriously. We have a perimeter fence around the bonfire and fireworks, and we do not allow sparklers, fireworks, or alcohol at the event. Our team is committed to ensuring that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall has been consistently improved over recent years. This year, we have extended the kitchen area with a brand new kitchen and equipment installed. The hall floor has also been replaced, and we have disabled toilets, baby changing facilities, changing rooms with showers, heating in all rooms, and a full complement of furniture.

Outside the Hall

Outside the Hall, there is ample parking, including disabled spaces. Additional car parking is available on the adjacent village field, all within a protected woodland setting.

At Tyler Hill Fireworks, we offer a range of facilities to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience. We have refreshments, children's rides, music, a variety of stalls, a huge bonfire, toilets (including disabled and baby changing), a nursing area, first aid, limited disabled parking, and a drop-off point for people with limited mobility.

Tickets for Tyler Hill Fireworks are available to buy online. We do not offer ticket sales locally, and we do not allow sparklers or alcohol at the event.
