OUR HISTORY

Amy Nicholas Interior Design was established in 2005, and since then, we have grown and evolved to become a leading design studio in Lancashire. Our journey began when Amy discovered her passion for interior design while working in the Audio Visual and Home Automation industry. She decided to branch out on her own and opened an Interiors shop in rural Lancashire, which eventually led to the establishment of our current Studio.

Our business has expanded over the years, and we now work with a wide range of clients, from luxury homeowners to boutique hotels, and from residential to retail. Despite the challenges of running a business, we have remained committed to our core values of providing a professional and friendly service, using our substantial interior design experience and industry knowledge to create extraordinary and effective spaces. We are constantly developing and refining our services to meet our clients' changing needs and expectations.

In 2018, Amy took on a new challenge and established Tradescant & Son, our unique fabric and wallpaper company. Our UK-made fabrics are printed on exquisite 100% linen and are sold to high-end designers throughout the UK and internationally. Our designs reflect our fascination with the natural world, and each one is a statement on the beauty of nature.
