Transforming wood into works of art, one piece at a time.

We are a reputable business based in Selkirk, Scottish Borders, specialising in a wide range of bespoke woodwork for over 30 years. Our portfolio includes furniture, sculpture, carving, woodturning, and specialist architectural joinery. Our work is all produced in our Selkirk workshop using locally-sourced native Scottish timber wherever possible.

Our Services

*Furniture and Specialist Joinery*

We create a variety of high-quality furniture items, including tables, chairs, cabinets, and other pieces to suit your requirements. Our specialist architectural joinery services include constructing and installing staircases, doors, and windows for both new builds and restoration projects. We can craft newel posts, balusters, and spindles to match original wood quality, colour, and grain using locally-sourced or reclaimed wood from demolished textile mills and churches in the Scottish Borders.

*Sculpture and Carving*

Our sculpture and carving work spans various subjects, such as celtic knotwork, pictish carvings, and the green man. Our carving expertise also extends to intricate details such as finials, pendant finials, and decorative elements for gable trusses. We have experience creating exhibition pieces and interactive sculptures for storytelling, enhancing educational and cultural environments.

*Woodturning*

Our woodturning skills are varied, encompassing the production of functional items like bowls and vessels, as well as decorative items like finials and newel caps. Our expertise allows us to work with various types of wood, ensuring the best results for each project.

*Trophies and Awards*

We create bespoke wooden awards, plaques, and trophies for various events and organisations. These unique pieces can be tailored to your specifications, making them ideal for recognising achievements and commemorating special occasions.
