108 Fine Art, established in 1997, is a distinguished gallery based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Founded by Andrew and Gillian Stewart, the gallery has evolved into a family-run business dedicated to upholding the philosophies of its founders. Our mission is to forge connections between artists and audiences by showcasing an array of artworks from both emerging and established International artists.

The Gallery and The Joash Woodrow Archive

108 Fine Art is home to The Joash Woodrow Archive, a significant collection that documents the life and work of this important British artist. We welcome inquiries and visitors interested in learning more about Woodrow's artistic contributions. Alongside our exhibition program, we offer a diverse assortment of works by many celebrated 20th and 21st century British and International artists.

Our Team

*Gillian Stewart, Managing Director*

Gillian, the Managing Director, holds a first-class honours degree in woven textile design from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, and a distinction in postgraduate studies in Textiles from Edinburgh College of Art. Her background in textile and mosaic art, coupled with her experience in textile and footwear design, along with many years of lecturing, has equipped her with the expertise to drive the success of 108 Fine Art.

*Scarlett Stewart, Creative Director*

As the Creative Director, Scarlett brings a modern perspective to the gallery's historical foundation. With a background in fashion from the esteemed Leeds College of Art and an inherent entrepreneurial spirit, her approach fosters a collaborative environment between artists and collectors, while her keen eye for detail ensures smooth gallery operations.

*India Stewart, Creative Director*

India, also a Creative Director, grew up surrounded by the gallery's exhibitions and draws inspiration from the rich artistic landscape cultivated by her parents. With a background in animation from the Royal College of Art and Edinburgh College of Art, India's dynamic approach harmonizes traditional and contemporary influences, continuously expanding the gallery's creative vision.
