Jarman Ward is an independent firm of chartered building surveyors, construction consultants and project managers offering leading professional consultancy services in the South West and Nationally. We understand that every client is different and that their needs will vary too. We combine our experience and expertise to identify the most suitable way of satisfying the Client's brief whilst maintaining a professional, friendly and collaborative approach to each project or instruction.

As a successful independent chartered building surveying practice and construction consultants based in Devon, our practice was founded by Richard Jarman and Andrew Ward in 2016 following a long period of collaboration at a large national multi-disciplinary practice. They saw the need to set up a business to offer professional excellence in building surveying combined with the flexibility and personal approach of a small practice. Both Directors have an engaging and positive approach to building productive client relationships and are experienced, chartered building surveyors.

Since formation in 2016, we have continued to enjoy sustainable growth through our ethos of aiming to provide an exceptional tailored service with the core characteristics and flexibility of a small nimble practice, with innovative, forward-thinking solutions which have you, the Client at heart. We deliver property and construction professionalism through the foundation of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) ethics of transparency and honesty with the aim of building long-term productive Client relationships.

Our Chartered Building Surveyors have a combined experience of over 30 years within the construction industry offering a diverse range of services through a wide variety of sectors including, education, industrial, office and housing. Our Clients range from large national companies, multi-academy trusts, charitable trusts and residential homeowners.
