Nursery School Information

Hoyle Nursery School is a maintained nursery school, providing education and care for children aged 2-4 years. We offer a range of flexible sessions, including morning, afternoon and full-day places. We also offer free early education places for eligible 2-year-olds and all 3 and 4-year-olds.

Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum overview sets out the range of learning opportunities that we provide for our children. We are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum, which is tailored to meet the needs and interests of our children.

EYFS

Our early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum provides a solid foundation for children's learning and development. It covers seven areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development.

Phonics

We use a synthetic phonics approach to support children's learning and development. This approach involves teaching children the sounds that letters make, and how to blend these sounds together to read words.
