Our Story
Our journey began with Lu's passion for baking, which led her to complete her bakery diploma at Leicester College and gain experience with The Fabulous Baker Brothers. After spending five years in London, creating bespoke cakes for top bakeries like The Hummingbird Bakery and Konditor, Lu returned to Leicester in 2017 to establish Bakerlu. Since then, we have been dedicated to bringing joy to families, couples, and friends through our handmade, bespoke cakes and bakes.

In addition to cakes, we also offer a range of sweet treats, including cupcakes, brownies, meringues, biscuits, and more.

About Lu
Meet Lu, the talented cake maker and baker behind Bakerlu. With a diploma in Art & Design and a diploma in Bakery, Lu brings a unique blend of creativity and technical skill to every cake she creates. When she's not baking, Lu loves to act, row, swim, camp, dance, and go on adventures. She's also a self-confessed foodie, with a passion for curry, marshmallows, and jalebis.
