At WEC Laser, also known as Laser Engineering UK, we're a team of experts committed to delivering top-notch laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication services to our clients across the UK. As a division of WEC Group Ltd, based in Darwen, Lancashire, we've been in the industry since 1998, and our continuous investment in the latest laser cutting technology has enabled us to grow and become one of the UK's largest sub-contract laser cutting companies.

Our Services

We take pride in offering a comprehensive range of services, including laser cutting, tube laser cutting, box section laser cutting, powder coating, and sheet metalwork. Our state-of-the-art CNC laser machines enable us to compete at the highest level, and our enviable capacity list includes 21 flat bed lasers, 2 tube lasers, 24 press brakes, as well as full in-house fabrication, CNC machining, and powder coating facilities. Our laser cutters can handle large sheet sizes, up to 20m x 3.2m, and our 10Kw fiber lasers can cut through stainless steel up to 30mm thickness, mild steel up to 25mm thickness, and aluminium up to 15mm thickness.

Our Facilities

We've recently built a new 25,500 sq ft state-of-the-art purpose-built facility at our Group's headquarters in Darwen, which has enabled us to expand our operations and increase our capacity. This Technology Centre is equipped with the latest machinery and technology, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve and provide our clients with the best possible service.
