Our brand new practice is equipped with the latest dental technology from Sirona, Germany, and our specialist staff are committed to using the most up-to-date materials and techniques to ensure that you receive the very best treatment available.

At Oakham Dental Studio, we understand that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience for many people. That's why we have designed our practice with great care and attention to detail, creating a friendly and welcoming environment that will make you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you step through the door. Our practice is located in the picturesque courtyard development of Knight's Yard, in the heart of Oakham, Rutland, making your visit to the dentist a truly pleasant one.

Our practice is fully compliant with all General Dental Council policies, and we have received an excellent report from the Care Quality Commission following an inspection in March 2013. We are committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, sterilisation, health and safety, and we take great care to ensure that our patients feel safe and secure in our care.

Our Services

At Oakham Dental Studio, we offer a comprehensive range of dental services, from general dentistry to cosmetic treatments and orthodontics. Our general check-ups are an important way of spotting potential issues before they become advanced, and our patients visit us twice a year for an assessment of their teeth, gums, and general oral health, as well as a scale and polish.

Orthodontic treatments are sometimes necessary to change the position of teeth in order for them to bite and function effectively. At Oakham Dental Studio, we are fortunate to have two highly qualified consultant orthodontists on our team, Cheryl Tracey and Julia Kotyla, who are dedicated to providing the very best care to our patients.

If you are not happy with the colour or appearance of your teeth, we can help. We offer a teeth-whitening service to improve the colour of your teeth, and veneers can also be fitted to improve the look of your teeth. White fillings are available as a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional amalgam fillings.

Payment Options

Our payment system is flexible and designed to suit your needs. We accept cheques, all credit or debit cards (apart from American Express), and cash.

Practice Policy

At Oakham Dental Studio, we strive to be polite and courteous to all our patients, to listen to patients' requests, and to only recommend treatments that will benefit our patients. We assess patients extremely carefully, explain treatment and costs clearly, and keep patients' details strictly confidential. We administer high standards of infection control, see patients on time, and refer patients if it is necessary.

We are delighted to announce that all members of our staff have now received their Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinations, with all but one staff member having received the two doses. We continue our commitment to strict triaging, risk assessment, use of correct PPE and adherence to government practice policy. We are therefore continuing with normal dental procedures at this time. We still ask all patients to follow some simple steps, which are explained via telephone/email 24 hours in advance of attending appointments. As a reminder, we currently cannot permit entry to the premises without a prior appointment. It is important that on arrival for their appointment, patients do not enter the building without first phoning reception.
