Our History
The Georgian House building that is now Scotia Airport Hotel was commissioned in 1824 by a Paisley cotton mill owner named Joseph Twigg. The original Georgian character of the building has been recently restored in impressive detail, retaining its original character and maintaining its B-listed architectural and historic qualities. We encourage our guests to visit Paisley Museum and Art Galleries to learn more about Paisley's fascinating history, which has links to fabric and textile industries.
