Street Riders, a distinguished provider of exceptional motorcycle training, was established in 2013. Since our inception, we have been recognised for our quality training, patient and friendly instructors, and well-maintained motorcycles. We take pride in being one of the few schools in the local area that offers full on-site training seven days a week, on our extensive training area. Our location boasts plenty of onsite parking for your convenience.

FAQ

*What is a CBT?*

The CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) is a day course split into five elements that must be taken by someone who wishes to ride a motorcycle on the road. Upon completing the CBT, this enables a provisional motorcycle licence holder to ride up to 50cc moped at 16 or above, or a 125cc motorcycle at 17 or above, for 2 years.

*How long is my CBT certificate for?*

If you successfully complete all the elements and achieve the required safe standard, you will receive a CBT certificate which lasts for two years minus one day.

*Do I need another CBT certificate?*

Duplicate CBT Certificates can be purchased for 20.00.

*What license do I need?*

The type of license you need depends on your age and the type of motorcycle you wish to ride. We offer a range of training to suit your needs, from AM to A licenses.

*What is a MOD1?*

Module one is the first part of the motorcycle test, it is a practical test that takes place at a DVSA site. It consists of a number of exercises, including manual handling, slalom and figure of eights, slow ride, U-turn, cornering and controlled stopping, emergency stop, and swerve avoidance manoeuvre.

*What is a MOD2?*

Module two is the second part of the test, only after completion of this test will you obtain a licence. It involves a 30-40 minute ride taking in different road and traffic conditions. They will ask you some show me tell me questions and check your eyesight.
