Mathews Shoes, a family-run business now in its third generation, has been serving the community since 1957. Our shops are located in the charming towns of Christchurch and New Milton, each easily accessible with nearby car parks and some on-road parking. We are proud to continue the legacy of our founders, Gordon and Pat Mathews, who started the business in Purewell as G & P Mathews, 'Distinctive Footwear'.

Our Christchurch shop, originally named Mathews Shoe Centre, was relocated to the High Street in 1971. We have since expanded and opened a second shop in New Milton. Our commitment to providing exceptional footwear remains unchanged. We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service, ensuring that every customer finds the perfect pair of shoes for their needs.

We also offer a Loyalty Scheme, which provides regular offers and notifications of sales and events. Additionally, we have a 'Car Park Refund Scheme' - merely ask our staff for more information.
