How We Work
Working closely with our clients, we take the time to understand their needs and preferences, carefully considering every detail to create a unique and personalized frame. Our expertise ensures that your framed artwork is not only visually stunning but also expertly preserved for generations to come.
Getting Started
If you're interested in working with us, please email us with the details of your artwork, including measurements, a description, and a picture. We'll send you an initial estimate, which is valid for two weeks from the date issued. Once you're happy with the design and price, we'll book a consultation to review the project in person.
Consultations and Lead-times
We operate on an appointment-only basis, and consultations are limited to 20 minutes per item. Our lead-times vary, but we typically work to a three-and-a-half-week schedule from receipt of work. However, during busy periods like Easter and Christmas, this timeframe may extend to five weeks.
Payment and Gift Certificates
We accept all major credit/debit cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. A 40% deposit is required before we begin work, and the final balance is due before completing the project. Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash or used as a deposit.
What's Next?
Once your project is complete, we'll contact you to arrange collection. We encourage you to plan ahead, as our completed work may require assistance to safely transport home. If you're unable to collect within 10 days, we may charge a discretionary storage and handling fee.
Handling Your New Frame
Finally, remember to handle your framed artwork with care. When lifting, hold the frame by the sides, avoiding the top or corners. Store frames laid on their backs or leaning against a wall, and avoid stacking or storing items on top. With proper care and handling, your framed artwork will remain a cherished part of your collection for years to come.
