Our Story

Our journey began in the late 80s when our founder, Bill, left the pub industry to start a new business venture. He consulted with his vast network of friends and pub regulars and got a lead from someone working in the plant hire business needing desk pads. Bill sought out a paper printing facility, and MPB was born. In the 90s, he got a request for labels, and our diversification journey started! Bill's son, Matthew, joined the business in the late 90s to learn the ropes, and the business grew as the world transformed with the internet. Clothing came next, including polo shirts, merino wool jumpers, and hi-vis! As Bill started to think about retirement, his daughter, Steph, joined the business. The business continued to grow, and we moved to bigger premises in Golborne, where we are today. Bill retired, and Matthew and Steph took up the reins, keeping service at the heart of what we do and how we work.
