Our Story

Founded by Roy Hill in 1970, Ace Plumbing was one of the first companies in the UK to offer a true 24-hour Emergency Service for Plumbing, Heating, and Drainage. The company grew rapidly under the management of Roy Hill's son-in-law, Lee Smith, and moved to new offices in Boscombe. Our success led to the opening of our second branch in Southampton in 1981, followed by another branch in Shaftesbury, which specialises in renewable energy installations.

Our plumbing services cover all aspects of plumbing, including roof tanks, hot water cylinders, boilers, showers, taps, WC's, immersion heaters, shower pumps, water mains, sinks, overflows, leaks, bathrooms, and waste disposal units. We also offer installation services for washing machines and dishwashers, as well as pipework solutions. All our work is fully guaranteed and we have full Public Liability Insurance.

Heating and Gas Services

Our heating and gas services include the installation, maintenance, and repair of all major boiler manufacturers. We offer landlord gas safety certificates, boiler breakdowns and diagnostics, boiler replacements, heating system installation and design, boiler servicing of all makes and models, powerflushing, gas pipework and installations, and gas fire repair, servicing, and installation. We also offer cooker installations and a 0% finance option on all Vaillant and Glowworm boiler installations.

Drainage Services

Our drainage services include a full drain cleaning service with no call-out charge. We offer a 24-hour Emergency Drainage Service, carrying out a fully comprehensive drain clearing service, whether it be with the use of rods, mechanical clearing, or high-pressure water jetting.
