The Rock offers a 360-degree shopping and leisure experience like no other. Our diverse range of stores and eateries cater to all tastes and preferences, from high street fashion to unique independent retailers, and from family-friendly restaurants to fine dining establishments. Our entertainment options are equally varied, with something for everyone, from movies and bowling to live music and events.
At The Rock, we understand that shopping can sometimes be overwhelming, especially for little ones. That's why we offer Quiet Time appointments at Clarks, a dedicated shopping experience with fewer crowds, noise, and bright lights. We are committed to ensuring that all our visitors have a positive and enjoyable experience.
Opening Times
Our shopping and dining options are open every day of the week, with extended hours on weekends and during special events. Our regular opening times are as follows:
- Shopping: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday - 9:00am to 7:00pm, Sunday - 11:00am to 5:00pm
- Dining: Sunday to Thursday - 11:30am to 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday - 11:30am to 11:00pm

Getting Here
The Rock is easy to reach by car, bus, or train. We have ample parking available, with over 1,700 spaces, including disabled and parent and child parking. Our central location and excellent transport links make us the perfect destination for a day out, whether you're coming from near or far.

The Rock Shopping Centre in Bury has received a range of reviews from visitors. Many have praised the centre for its cleanliness, affordability, and variety of shops and restaurants.
