At Tiny Explorers, we are dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and sessional day care for children aged 2 to 4 years in the heart of the Canford Heath community. Our team of passionate and highly qualified practitioners are committed to creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment that fosters creativity, imagination, and independence in our young learners.
Our Services
We cater for children aged from 2 to 4 years, offering flexible sessional care, 5 days a week from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. term time only. We provide government funding for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds, as well as private day care. Our services include morning and afternoon sessions, lunch clubs, and affordable and flexible sessional care to meet the needs of parents, carers, and children.
Our Team
Our team consists of highly qualified and experienced practitioners, including our Manager, Funding Co-ordinator, Team Manager, and Practitioners. Each member of our team holds relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning, and Development, CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner, and Safeguarding Level 4. We are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that we stay up-to-date with the latest statutory requirements and best practices in early years education.
Our Facilities
We operate from two halls, including the Squirrels room, which caters for pre-school aged children, and the Hedgehogs room, which caters for toddlers. Our facilities also include a large playground with colourful and educational markings, surrounded by secure gates to provide a spacious and safe setting for children to play and learn. Additionally, we have a large decking area alongside our vegetable patch, which is used to teach children about healthy nutrition and where their food comes from in an outdoor learning environment.
Our Vision
At Tiny Explorers, our vision is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be the best possible version of themselves whilst helping them to develop the skills that will support them through their Early years and beyond. These skills include showing curiosity, being imaginative, expressing themselves and their feelings and emotions, and communicating effectively.
